Hi Everybody,

So it the first day of my new job and I am very excited!!:) It feels great to be up at 5:00am and start the day. The month of May has been very busy with shows and singing at a lot of various open mics. You can hear me sing Monday night at either Rehearsal Pro in Mississauga at 9:00pm, Statlers in Toronto for a musical theater open mic, Tuesday night Boston Pizza Idol contest Mississauga and Sunday night at The Center for the Spiritual Living. I am truly blessed to be give the opportunity I have been getting. I also have shows coming up Monday May 16 at The Rovers and Monday 23 in Kestion Market. I have also been writing lots of new songs with Sean, Zubin and Mike. So tuned for the new songs. I am going to the studio this friday to record more songs. I have a lot going on and going to do weekly video blogs. I also started Turbo Jam and it is the best way to start you day let me tell you. I feel great doing Turbo Jam, Taekwondo and hot yoga weekly. So when you get the chance give Turbo Jam a chance you will love it. After Turbo Jam I am going to do PX90.

Hi Everybody,

I had a very exciting last few days. I went to the yoga convention on

Saturday afternoon and that was rather different. I have never been

before and got to see some cool exhibits and meet some people.  I also

got some songwriting done when I woke up so that is good news. Then I

decided to surprise Mike with a visit to Woodstock and we had an

relaxing evening watching some cool movies. Then I got to sing Sunday

evening at the night service at The Center for the Spiritual I love being able to sing there ever Sunday.I then had a long week of rehearsals with Riley Anderson for our shows that are coming up on April 23 at The Bread & Circus at 299 Augusta Ave at 9:00pm and the other show is April 29 at The Center for The Spiritual Living Queen Street East. Riley and I have a name now for our Sunday night services called Soulful Revelation. I think it's a great name cause the morning band is called Absolute Grove and they are super talented so we needed a name and that just fits well together. I have also been doing two TaekwonDo classes daily and working my way up to two classes a day five days a week. I did two days of two classes each day already so I have three more to go. There are new teachers at the place that I go to now and man I am super soar but I love it. No pain no game!!:) I have also been writing quite a lot the last few days and working on some daily video singing blogs. So that is my next things to do as well as writing I will also be doing video blogs. I had a vocal lesson with the great Micah Barnes on Monday that was so needed cause of my shows that I have coming up. Micah is such a great teacher and a amazing friend to me. If you looking for a singing teacher Micah Barnes is the way to go.

I am doing a night chat today. I have a very productive day today meeting up with Riley Anderson to work on the song for the show on April 21 at The Peacok. We also did some fun video taping of the rehearsal and I am going to have the video footage up soon on youtube so keep and eye out. I love playing with Riley doing songs acoustically. We are two separate artists working together doing what we love that is the most important thing. We are playing this Sunday at The Center for the Spiritual Living the third new night service at 6:00pm on Queen street east. After a fun fulled day of rehearsal/ video recording with Riley I got to hang out with Natasha to pick our favorite pictures of the shoot we did with Cam Ta. It was cool that we both had similar picks cause there are lots of pictures to choose from and we have to pick 10 out of 100's. Do a photoshoot with Cam Ta is so much fun cause she really captures you and then adds this amazing brightness that makes you pop. I love her she is so talented. Natasha is a really talented hair/makeup/special effects artists so I can't wait to do some crazy photoshoots with her so stay tuned for crazy pictures,dress up splashes of  fancy makeup. I also did not one but two classes of TaekwonDo today and I feel strong after doing that. I love TaekwonDo it is such a great workout, builds discipline, makes you strong and most import you get fit. I think when it comes to fitness it's important to find something that really makes you happy cause then getting  in-shape comes so much easier. I really enjoy a hard core workout when you wake up the next day and your so soar you can even bend down. The best it to make it part of you daily life and month down the road you see defined results. Then I meet up with my cute partner in crime Mercedes for a business meeting for the show with have together on Thursday April 21. I am grateful to work with another talented artist and do plan shows together. We work so well together being two very contrasting individuals but have similar goals. Nice to find like minded people to work with. I love the people in my life that I get to work with they are so oozing with creativeness, positive, happy go lucky and super stars. I thank God for all these gifts he has given me and lets me share them with all of you.

Hi Everybody,
What a beautiful day outside today!!:) I have not blogged in a few days now cause I went away on a little trip. I had the most relaxing time out in Woodstock with my very close friend Mike Zebik. We did so many amazing things like go on long nature walks, did some creative writing, drew some really cool pictures, cooked fun new foods and watch the whole first season of a really cool tv series called Fringe. Sometime is great to get away from where you live and just chill. I had a great run with Mixed Company Theater worked with some really talented people and our last show was super fun on April 6, 2011. We got to do the show on a very big stage and it was also filed that day so can't wait to see a copy of the show. I was sad when it was over cause I really enjoyed doing the show and spreading awareness to the youth of today. But it might get picked up in the Fall so that will be super exciting if that happens.Now I have two show coming up on next Thursday April 21 at The Peacok at 10:00pm and the other show is April 29 at The Center for the Scriptural Living. So I working away on my shows and also writing new music to share with all of you. I am very excited for the months to come the warm weather is amazing. I am on my way to see the Tim Burton exibit today for my friends Johns Birthday so very excited about this been waiting quite sometime to see his work at the Tiff building. I will have some pictures and tell you all about it tonight.

I am so excited to see the pictures that we took yesterday with Cam Ta. I was working with a very talented team and we had a long shoot from 10:30 to about 6:30pm. But I loved every minute of it. We can some really creative images done so I can't wait to share them with all of you. I am on my way for my weekly service at The Center for the Spiritual Living then off to have a meet with a producer Sean Gregory. I am also going to be singing my new song tonight with Riley Anderson at the very first Sunday night service at The Center for the Spiritual Living at 6:00pm so come and check it out. This service today is a healing mass that is dedicated to Japan. I am very grateful to share my sing gift. Then tomorrow is the fifth day of the tour for Tree Amagis and we have the show at 9:00am so we have a very early day tomorrow cause that means I have to be up and 5:00am. Fun times!!:) I am working on some many new things and yesterday I designed my first pair of shoes they are so sexy will take a pictures and show you.

I had an amazing sleep last night due to the fact I am super excited about my shoot today with Cam Ta!!:) It going to be a epic shoot today there are a whole group of creative people involved. I am doing a shoot today with Mercedes Moffatt the super cute catch and release girl part of The Mercedes Project check her music out at www.themercedesproject.com. We also get to work with the super cool, sassy, creative hair and makeup superstar Natasha Lefevre. So get ready cause there pictures are going to rock your mind and make your eyes smile!!:) I am getting all the clothing, shoes and accessories in order cause Mercedes will be over soon. After the shoot it girls night me and Mercedes have a show on April 21 together and we can going to be doing some work on the show today. There are more surprises we are going to write some songs together for the show. How do you like that? Another super creative day in the world of SJV.

Up early for day for four of the "Tree Amigas" tour. We are going back to the all girls high school. It's a huge school we have to do four shows there so that can give you a good idea of how many students attend. Then I get to go to crossfit, dye my hair and get creative for my photoshoot with Mercedes Moffat. We both get to shoot with an amazing talent Cam Ta check out her work http://www.facebook.com/?tid=1054212643531&sk=messages#!/pages/Cam-Ta-Photography/283489487004. So I am so excited to get creative with them. We also might have a hair and makeup person on board so that is going to be more creative juices there. Yesterday was a blast one big day of creativeness. We did our show at St. Paul's and it went super well the cast was super charged with lost of energy. They I went to meet Zubin for my finial mixes of my new song " Just Breath", then off I went in the tour bus to meet Riley Anderson to work on music/songwriter and get ready for the open mic at Boston Pizza Mississauga yesterday. Boston Pizza was filled with so many people waiting to sing and perform it was amazing. I have never been to an open mic so loaded with talent. I sang my new song with Riley and we rock the house down. Riley also sang one of his songs he wrote and I played the musical eggs for him was so much fun!!:) Well I am off to play count the colors of cars in traffic.

So It was a beautiful sunny day outside on my day off!!:) Yesterday we had two amazing shows with the Mixed Company Theater at Loretto Abbey CSS. It is an all girl high school and all the students are really well behaved and very talented when they came up and did the interventions. The school is huge and holds so many students, I really felt like a high school student yesterday walking in the halls and going to eat in the cafeteria is was really fun. The "Tree Amigas" are back doing two more shows there on Friday and I am so excited cause we do the show on there stage with an amazing light and sound system. So today being my day off I am going to take my close friend Howard out for his birthday lunch for some all you can eat Sushi, some writing by the water, singing, hot yoga and crossfit. I am also going to be getting my out fits ready for this amazing photoshoot I have with Cam Ta on Saturday. She is so talented and I love working with her check out here work.

It's a Beautiful day this morning!!:)

Today is the day that the Mixed Company Theater do there very first show called the Tree Amigas in a high school with over 300 plus student. I am getting ready to embody all my characters Stacy the teen age binge drinker, Officer Brian the power tripping cop, Mizz.Kathy the control freak mother and Rob the pot smoking perverted teenage male. I know right and I get to switch in these characters pretty quickly one scene to the next. I love this show and can't wait to get to the school today and change so thinking about how serious the long terms effects are of drinking, drugs and smoking. But it all done it a very clever, funny way with a serious twist at the end. I am also going to hit up some writing songs and working out. That is the daily goal is write, write and write. I am going to gear up and get my yellow belt in Taekwondo very soon. On the music front have have a bunch of shows on the way for this week and April. I am going to be singing at two open mics one in Mississauga at Boston Pizza on Thursday and the other one on Friday at Statler's on church street downtown. So come out and sing some songs and hear my new song and let have a great big music jam cause it's so much fun.

So the word of the day is improvise. Why you ask well I have a funny story about being on the ball and finding a solution. So today the cast of "Tree Amigas" went to perform the very first show of the tour at Archbishop Romero CSS and it was a hit. The show being about the effects of binge drinking, drugs and smoking we left our fake drugs for the show at the office. How ironic really. So we improvised and made some new ones with news paper, plastic bags and it was just the same cause it all about the delivery after all.  The audience has no idea what is going to happy but if you as the character believe what it is so does the audience. Was really happy with how the show went. It was great to get the first show on the roll and meet new people. Also have an impact on the youth of today to showing them the worst case of situations and how to deal with them when they are presented with that situation. Was great to get the youth up on there feet and involved in the show and them showing us what they would do in that situation as well. Other thing that was brought up today was how we stereo typed the cops in the show. I thought that was a really great comment. Cause both of the actor in the show me being one of the cops how they are viewed but again we did the show in the worst case situation so a youth who got busted for a high amount of drugs that were discussed in the show that is what athority would do.

Morning to all.

So I had a great sleep last night in dream land it's so important to have a pad and paper near you bed to write down your dreams. I have a eventful day planed ahead. I am going to write, sing, do some hot yoga, watch the Juno's and go over my script for tomorrow. Tomorrow is the very first show that a very talented group of people are going to do a show about the effects of smoking, drinking and drugs. Yes that is what it is about. I get to go and talk to youth and improvise with them in Form Theater. Life is very exciting and I am very greatful for a the new things that are happening with in it for me

So I had my first day back today at my favorite gym in the world Crossfit and man I got my butt kicked!!:) I have not been there since March 10 I believe so I felt it today that is forsure. I can't wait to go back this week and get by butt kicked more. I then went to The Center for the Spiritual Living and heard the most amazing inspirational woman sing/talk. Her name is Ester Nicholson I was so grateful to meet here, see her perform and get a signed cd. You all need to check her out she will make you smile!!:) Her album is called Child Above the Sun go buy it ASAP. Then I got booked for some shows, went to hot yoga, wrote some new songs by the water and spend the rest of my day with my family. I am now about to go over my script and get ready for the big show tomorrow in-front of 300 plus high school students.

Hi Everybody,

So today is the big day!!:) I am super excited to go to the American Idiot auditions today at 11:00am. I am warming up with some Micah Barnes, Kicks and yoga. I am can't wait to share my Somebody to Love by Queen with the Audition panel.  The most important thing is to be relaxed, breath, smile and be yourself. I got that all covered. I also just got back my final mix for my new song Just Breath so keep on the look out for it. I get to sing this song in my Kids show that I am writing/acting in with Mixed Company Theater. I get to play a high school drunk named Stacy, Mom, Creepy Guy, Cop and I get to sing my new song I love this show!! I am going to be going into the schools next week starting Monday so so happy to share this with high school students all over the GTA to teach them the effect of Drugs. Send me all the light, love & light to day for my American Idiot audition I am ready to rock!!:)

WOW WOW WOW!!:)
I had a really killer, super exciting eventful day. I was at the American Idiot auditions from 9:50am until 6:00pm. I was in various rooms with over 300 musicians, some really talented friends that I have not seen in a long time and some close friends. It felt so great to be surround by so much creative energy. It made me super hyper and for those who know me I am pretty hyper so times that but 1000. I was doing yoga, kickboxing, singing, playing improvisation games and chatting about boys with my superstar friend what more can you ask for really. I was number 230 and it was amazing to get in the room and ROCK. I really did rock there face off and got great feed back. So send all your love, positive energy this way and cross your fingers, toe, ears and elbows.

Hi Everybody,

I had another amazing day today surrounded my super talented people!!:) I did learn a lesson today in rehearsal that in my back pocket there is something I need to apply like lip balm and that is called patients. Yes it is easier said then done I know and each day I am getting better and better. I must also say the power of positive thinking is contagious!!:) For those of you that don't know I have been doing hot yoga for about two years and I could not do sleeping hero when I first started and now I can do it as well as many other poses. I surprises myself each day learning new things and challenges. The rollocoaster of life is so much fun each hill and turn bring you to a new destination all you have to do is lift you arm up and enjoy the ride!!:)

Hi Everybody,

Today was an amazing day of electric, exciting fun!!:) I am working on a youth show to talk to kids about the effects of drugs/alcohol and we did the read through today for the completed script. I get to play the role of a drunken teen, Mother, Cop and a gangster male sweet deal for me. I am ready to take a big bite into these characters and put them on their feet. I am also going to be singing this Wednesday night to raise money for Japan. It's crazy what is going on all around us. What is even very eye catching how calm Japan is about what is going on. If that were USA or Canada it would be a completely different story. Japan is in my prayers each and everyday. I am looking forward to all the exciting shows I have coming up and most importantly stay tuned for my new songs.

So I have been having a amazing day working on this show with Mixed Company Theater. I am very grateful to be apart of this show to teach youth the effect of drug abuse. I have been working with some extremely talented and extraordinary people. I am very excited each day as we take on new ideas and go through the building process. I am also working on new songs daily so keep your heart and ears open. I will be singing tomorrow night at The Center for the Spiritual Living at 7:30pm. I will be singing my new song I just wrote some come on out and meet some new people and share the love!!:)
